Visceral Manipulation

Visceral Manipulation is a gentle, hands-on technique that focuses on the natural movement of the body’s internal organs and their surrounding connective tissues. Healthy organs need subtle motion to function well. When that motion becomes restricted—whether from injury, surgery, stress, or illness—it can create pain and tension in other areas of the body, including the neck, back, and shoulders.
The goal of Visceral Manipulation is to restore each organ’s natural mobility and improve how the organs work together. By re-establishing this brain–body connection, the body can function more efficiently, often leading to decreased pain, improved digestion, and better overall well-being.

Visceral work is primarily performed fully clothed, so it’s best to wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows access to the abdomen.
Avoid wearing any restrictive clothing(tight bras, leggings, etc), as it can interfere with listening through the tissues.
Please come hydrated, avoid eating a heavy meal right beforehand.
Skip body oils or lotions, since they make it harder to feel the subtle motions of the organs.
During the session, I use gentle, precise touch to listen for restrictions and guide the body back toward its natural mobility. The majority of this work is done through
the exposed abdomen. Most people find the work surprisingly soft, supportive, and deeply calming.

Most people leave a visceral session feeling lighter, more balanced, and simply “better” overall. You may notice easier movement, reduced discomfort, or just a general sense of well-being. Because this work helps restore natural organ motion, it often stimulates the digestive system—many clients find they feel less bloated and more regular afterward.
Everyone responds a little differently, but benefits continue to unfold over the next 24–48 hours and beyond as your body integrates the changes.
